My Perfect Road Trip... |
|
| Like many cities in Southern California, Palm Springs is lucky to have some of the best weather in the entire country. Nestle in the desert and beautiful mountains; Palm Springs is a hot spot for travelers from all over the country. While on a road trip and passing through Palm Springs there are many accommodations, attractions and must sees. When I first visited Palm Springs on my summer road trip we actually camped in the desert. I am not very into sleeping in the great American outdoors but it was the perfect opportunity for us to give it a try. Weather is great both late night, morning and throughout the day. There are different campsites with bathrooms and security, which allow travelers to feel more comfortable with camping. If you want to stay at a hotel or resort in Palm Springs here are some of the best ones. Korakia Pensione has been rated of the best hotels in Palm Springs by Zagat. The decor, service and beautiful rooms give you the opportunity to indulge and relax. Sometimes all you really need is a comfortable bed while on a road trip, Casa Cody Inn Bed & Breakfast. Great for families and group travelers. Service is excellent and breakfast in the morning is a great jump-start to a day in Palm Springs When it comes to attractions, Palm Springs has it all. Coachella Valley preserve has their yearly music festival in April which features top artists for a weekend long getaway. A must when visiting during April. Knott's Soak City is one of my favorite water parks in all of southern California. During those hot summer days head over to Knott's Soak City and indulge in miles of pools, water rides and chilling areas. However you decide to spend your visit in Palm Springs, make sure you also explore the Resorts, Casinos and Parks. There is a lot to do for the entire family. You'll definitely need more than a day while stopping in Palm Springs on your Road Trip. |
